This high-quality stubby holder celebrates the Sandy Blight Junction Road that stretches 377km and starts 30km east of Giles and passes through some of the most picturesque Australian outback. Len constructed the Sandy Blight Junction Road from late March to early July 1960 and was named because of an eye infection Len was constantly afflicted with during the reconnaissance work. The story of the construction of Sandy Blight Junction Road is written about in Len’s book Beating About the Bush.
