Desert Oaks on the Gunbarrel Highway. This puzzle shows the very picturesque Desert Oaks on each side of the Gunbarrel Highway,  a 1300 km bush highway connecting Victory Downs in the Northern Territory to Carnegie Station in Western Australia.  Len Beadell surveyed and made the Gunbarrel Highway with the 'Gunbarrel Road Construction Party' between 1955 and 1958.
